Alhaji and Mrs Ismaila Ugwu PGD Scholarship Award ( AUPSA)

I am pleased to announce that Dr Zubair Ismaila Ugwu (Sunday, nwa Alhaji ) has donated an endowment that will bridge the gap between HND and master’s degree for Ihe people who want to obtain a master’s degree. We are aware that in Nigeria holders of HND are required to obtain a PGD before they can be admitted for master’s programme . Every year, two HND holders will each receive *N250, 000 (two hundred and fifty thousand naira* ) to do postgraduate programme in any Nigerian university.
Applicants MUST:
1. be an indigene of Ihe;
2. be resident in Nigeria;
3. be less than 45 years old;
4. hold a HND (not below Upper Credit );
5. be mentally sound;
6. have no any criminal record;
7. have evident capacity to withstand the research demands of postgraduate study;
8. not be pursuing a master’s degree already;
9. attach their O’Level and bachelor’s degree certificates (or the statement of result of the degree certificate).
